“THAT this Assembly considers that the exponential growth in the rate of environmental degradation of the Earth now requires that the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change be replaced by a more specific Convention to which all Member Nations must commit and which will mandate the regulation and minimisation of all matters considered to contribute to the adverse effects of climate change AND FURTHER THAT this Assembly considers the adverse effects of climate change to be of such potentially devastating consequence that any nation not fully adopting and implementing such a Convention should be denied continuing membership of the United Nations”.

During this final session of the Assembly debate countries wishing to exercise a right of reply on any topic discussed during this Model United Nations Assembly may, at the discretion of the Secretary General, be offered the opportunity of doing so.
Participating countries are also invited to comment on the processes adopted for the Assembly and, as appropriate, offer suggestions for consideration by the Committee.
As many countries as possible will be invited to contribute to the session.
Contributions will be limited to a maximum of one minute.
