HTML pages are indexed fairly quickly (~ 2 weeks), but
other format files, eg PDFs, may take longer to become
included in the index. So the content of the most recent
newsletter and some PDF and other format pages may not
always be included.
Where PDF or other files (TIF, JPG etc) are made from a
direct scan of printouts, the result is a "picture
of text", ie a graphic and not text at all, and thus
these cannot be searched or indexed. You can read and
print it though. Usually a link pointing to these files
will show up in the search, rather than the files
themselves.
The price of having this valuable service made available
for free, is that some advertising links may be provided
